This vintage 1950s(+) Japanese porcelain teaware set is ideal for enjoying an afternoon snack alongside your favourite brew. It includes a beautifully presented matching tea cup and saucer, both featuring a vibrant pattern of pink and yellow roses and buds. The edges are elegantly brushed in gold on delicate white translucent porcelain, featuring a unique “Tennis Snack Plate” design. The teacup has a flat base, while the saucer is designed in an elongated shape to accommodate snacks. Both pieces bear a backstamp for formal identification, which includes a gold crown, scroll, and wreath, and reads "Fine China Made in Japan."

Condition:
A small amount of vintage usage wear on the teacup's gold handle. Small. clean small ‘scuff’ area on the saucer surface near the yellow rose, and a manufacturing over-stamp on the saucer’s underside back stamp. Both are insignificant and mentioned for accuracy.
Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with no damage. There is no crazing, repairs, stains, chips, cracks or significant wear. The inside of the teacup is clean and free from stains.
