Available are two rare and beautiful examples of vintage late 19th-century cannetille filigree silver jewellery. Both the delicate circular brooch and adjustable ring feature intricate filigree and cannetille wire work designed in an open circular floral starburst pattern with many small buttons. The brooch is hallmarked with the maker’s mark TOM and another for authenticity. Although I cannot identify the second hallmark, it strongly suggests the brooch is made of sterling silver. The brooch has a C-clasp with a long pin. The ring is adjustable, approximately a US size 7. It has no hallmark, but it also shows and indicates the silver content. Both items appear as a matching set but may be purchased separately.
