Beautiful antique 1922 sterling silver (925) teaspoons featuring the mythical Lincoln Imp, a decorative and mischievous creature depicted as short with horns and hooves. These spoons were made by the English Birmingham silversmith company Thomas Edward Holden, renowned for specialising in Lincoln Imp memorabilia. There are four spoons available, each designed with a two-piece solid sterling silver construction that includes a bowl, a stem handle, and a decorative Lincoln Imp at the terminal tip. Additionally, each spoon has an impressed hallmarked backstamp on the underside of the bowl for authenticity. These rare and highly collectible antique sterling silver teaspoons are over 100 years old and would make a fantastic addition to any silverware collection or a fine dining high tea table. They also make perfect gifts for housewarmings, birthdays, or weddings.
Condition:
Each spoon is in excellent condition, measuring 11 cm long with the bowls measuring 4 cm x 2.3 cm.
