Vintage S.G.K. China Royal Bird Japan Small Trinket Bowl Dish
Beautifully detailed, hand-painted small porcelain vintage Royal Bird Japan trinket dish. Manufactured by S.G.K. China-Japan, it features a charming mid-century design in the Royal Bird pattern, which showcases a colourful pheasant or lyrebird perched on a branch of a red blossom tree. The dish has a lovely round shape with some height and is adorned with gold trim, and was produced in Occupied Japan between 1945 and 1952. This piece serves as perfect vintage tableware for use as a butter or condiment dish, or even as a shallow soup bowl. Additionally, it makes a lovely holder for jewellery items on a vanity dresser.
Status: Discontinued and collectible due to its vintage nature and unique design.
