Vintage mid-century 1940s–60s ceramic pottery ashtray. Originally crafted as a souvenir, it was manufactured in England exclusively for Birkbeck's Jewellers, based in Southport, Queensland, Australia. It features an iconic, colourful, intricately detailed image of the Southport School, established in 1901, on a gloss white background and has a round, curved design with a gold trim. The ashtray has two cigarette slots and a glossy finish throughout.
Both rare and collectible, this piece is perfect for collectors of vintage tableware and tobacciana, and it also makes an ideal man cave decor accessory.
Measurements approximately:
11 cm in diameter x 3 cm in height.

Condition:
In excellent vintage condition. The piece has a few signs of wear and may have only been used as a display piece. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing, showing wear to the gold trim. Minor tool marks or paint slips that are not deemed damage. Photos are provided for your review.
