This vintage 1974 collectible porcelain display plate is produced by the Danish porcelain company Bing & Grøndahl, located in Copenhagen, Denmark and was part of an annual Mother's Day series that began in 1969. This particular plate is from the 1974 edition and features an adorable polar bear with its cubs while showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of Copenhagen porcelain. The plate has a beautiful blue and white colour contrast, with a "Mors Dag 1974" motif (meaning Mother's Day 1974) on the bottom. This display plate makes a perfect vintage Mother's Day or baby arrival gift and is ready to hang or can be displayed on a stand as lovely home decor.
The plate measures 15 cm in diameter and has a slight upward lift.
