Vintage Noritake 3-piece trio set, made by Noritake Lanka Porcelain (Pvt.) Ltd in Sri Lanka, a subsidiary of Noritake Japan. Established in 1972 for the export markets. This particular trio set was produced in 1974 and belongs to the “Contemporary” Fine China Collection. Beautiful quality porcelain features sprays of pretty violet garlands with green foliage on all three pieces. Glossy white porcelain base with gold gilt trim on each piece. All pieces are matching and part of the Contemporary collection. Noritake trademark identification back stamp of red ‘Arabesque’ is on the underside of each piece.
The trio consists of:
1 x teacup
1 x saucer
1 x side plate.
Teacup Measurements:
H x 8cm
W x 9cm top rim, not including handle
W x 4.8cm pedestal base
200 ml capacity
Saucer Measurements: 15cm across
Side Plate Measurements: 16cm across.
Condition:
All pieces are in excellent vintage condition. There is no damage, chips, cracks, repairs, crazing or discolouration, and all pieces appear to be in a ‘mint’, unused condition.
