Beautiful vintage 1920-1952 (+) Japanese porcelain teacup and saucer set. Both pieces feature a colourful matching pattern of scarlet and yellow poppies, along with a decorative, wide, iridescent and pearlescent band with gold edge trims and accents on white translucent porcelain. The teacup has a classic wide "mouth" shape, while the saucer has a round uplifted design. Both the teacup and saucer have a back stamp for formal identification, showing a gold wreath and crown, and the printed inscription "Fine China Made In Japan." This is beautiful vintage high tea ware and the perfect gift for any tea collector!

Condition:
Minor vintage pre-used gilt trim wear on the saucer and teacup top rim; otherwise, both pieces are in excellent vintage condition. There is no crazing, repairs, stains, chips, cracks or significant wear. The inside of the teacup is clean and free from stains.
