Crafted from unglazed stoneware and porcelain, it has a matte ‘biscuit’ finish and showcases exquisite attention to detail. The item is in a stunning ‘Portland Blue’ colour with a raised white cameo-style decoration on the lid, complemented by a floral garland trim. Although there is no impressed trademark on the base—only an impressed number—there is a strong possibility that the maker is Wedgwood and that the item belongs to the Jasperware range.
