Beautifully crafted in Queens Ware fine porcelain, this 1982 vintage limited edition display plate by Wedgwood England features the artwork of renowned English artist Mary Vickers. Titled “Playtime”, it is the second plate in the “My Memories” series by Vickers, which features the artist’s own special childhood memories in her rural hometown in England. This particular pattern features Mary and her brother Michael when they were young, highlighting their carefree childhood memory in England. Beautifully portrayed, it shows the artist’s talent with vibrant colours and precise detail. The plate also comes with the original box, foam case, stand and certificate of authenticity. The Wedgwood trademark identification and plate information, including the Bradex number (assigned by Bradford Exchange, a major seller of limited edition collectibles), is on the back of the plate.
Plate measures 20.5 cm across.

Condition:
The plate is in excellent vintage condition. There are two small manufacturing dots on the back of the plate and a glaze nibble on the rim. Each is insignificant and mentioned only for accuracy. The plate has no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing or wear. To be expected, the box is ‘tatty’ with age-related vintage wear.
