This beautiful vintage 1930s tableware is perfect for entertaining, high tea parties, and serving teacakes and delicious treats. It's a lovely choice for wedding table decor, christenings, and baby showers. The design features an exquisite art deco floral filigree transfer pattern in complementary orange and black tones, all on an elegant round scalloped ceramic base design.
The cake plate features a new gold-toned metal handle that is easily removable for cleaning. It has a backstamp on the underside for identification and measures 23 cm in diameter.
The plate was manufactured by Alfred Meakin in England and showcases the Dunkirk pattern with the Harmony design.
Condition:
This piece shows some minor signs of vintage wear, including light wear on the gold gilt edge, small nibbles around the handle hole (which are covered by the washers), and a few spots of light utensil marks.
