The design is further complemented by an eye-catching red geometric pattern.
The teacup features a classic flat base design, while the saucer is large and has an elongated shape, perfect for holding snacks. Both the teacup and saucer are stamped on the underside with a gold wreath and crown, reading "Fine China Made in Japan."
The teacup measures 8.5 cm in width (excluding the handle) and 6.6 cm in height, holding 150 ml.
The saucer measures 16 cm across at its widest point.

There is some general age-related wear to the gold gilt and a “rough” spot on the top rim of the teacup; otherwise, both pieces are in remarkably good vintage condition. There is no crazing, fading, repairs, stains, chips or cracks.
